Meetings and Events
Workshops are public engagement events that center on a specific topic area and include a facilitated conversation around that topic. There will be several workshops throughout the General Plan update process. All workshop presentations, questionnaires, and maps will be found on this page. The public is welcome to attend all workshops throughout the process, and leave comments on this page after the workshops on the various topic areas.

Housing Workshop #2 – April 19
The second housing workshop presented the preliminary housing needs assessment. After the presentation, the event opened into a discussion with the City Council and public.

Planwest Partners, Inc. is Yreka’s consultant firm drafting the Housing Element of the General Plan. Planwest facilitated the first of two housing specific workshops to educate the public on the Housing Element update process, contents of the Housing Element, and collect public input on housing needs.
